Our Nature cycle brings us the longest night once more,
To my West the sun will set and the darkness fall.
Gums are in flower; my Earth’s not sleeping at its core,
This Witch is not following your foreign Wiccan law.
I’m dancing with the Bushman, as his seeds start to sprout,
Rejoicing with the Wattle King, as his trees stand so proud.
Midwife to the Goddess, awaiting Uri’s birth, without a sound,
Tonight I embrace my darkness, as I dance the sacred round.
