Sage Wisdom….
Is it just me, or is it my need for a good herbal tea?!…. what started as a tuned in and energised day starting pre-dawn with my morning rituals turned into madness….has this day been chaotic for you too? So I just took a wonder in my garden to see what was on offer, the beautiful Sage is at its very peak right now, take a look at these gorgeous pictures, I’ve never seen Sage this large in my life, have you??? I measured these leaves and they are 155cm or 6 inches long…how huge are they?, living and thriving with their best friends strawberries, companion planting at its best! So this is the tea for any anxiety stress, and a calm me down…so I am drinking it up in all its glory!
I boiled the water, and poured it into a mug with a teaspoon of my home grown honey, and then steeped the leaves for just a few minutes, and added a slice of lemon…beautiful flavour…delicious tea..gift of the garden…Mother Earth thank you!
