Reiki Healing Treatment
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words – Rei which means “Higher Power” and Ki which is “life force energy”. So Reiki is actually “spiritually guided life force energy.”
A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. Many have reported miraculous results.

It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.
In 2004 I was blessed by being re-attuned to the skills of diagnosis by frequency, which was a simple modification to the Reiki, I had been attuned to, that has taught me, unlike many Reiki practitioners to be more effective and it is more energy efficient for my patients.

Astarté holds her certificates in both Level 1 & 2 in the Usui Reiki Method of Natural Healing. A Reiki healing is very simply performed. Astarté places her hands upon the person to be healed with the intent for healing to occur, and then the energy begins flowing. The Reiki energy is smart since the Universe is a very smart place indeed. The energy knows where to go, and what to do once it gets there, or else is being directed by a higher intelligence. The energy manages its own flow to and within the recipient. It draws through Astarté exactly that amount of energy which the recipient needs. All this happens without direct conscious intervention by Astarté.
Astarté will watch and listen for signs of what to do next. Astarté can quite often talk with you about the blockages she sees and feels whilst working on you, she also often receives messages when doing this form of healing and will speak with you about what comes through for you.
